American Snowman Cookies

Dallas is already in a festival mood with snow and ice to celebrate Christmas. Yeah, Dallas was frozen and completely shutdown last weekend. Schools were closed due to road condition and most of the grocery shops were out of veggies & fruits.  After thanks giving, it is very hectic for us from moving and settling down. Due to weather condition, my internet and phone   connections were delayed to this week and I am excepting everything should happen by today confused smiley... Now let see the recipe..
American snowman cookies are melt in mouth cookies with cute appearance. We can extend our imagination to create this cookies which make it more fun when baking with kids. When Priya Ranjit comes with more choices of recipes for Home bakers Challenge for this festival season, My first pick was this American Snowman cookies which is very easy and simple to bake...

3. For each snowman, shape 2 teaspoons of black colored dough into a hat; place above head. For   scarf, shape small portions of each color into a 3-in. rope; twist ropes together, leaving one end  untwisted. Place scarf around snowman's neck. Insert jimmies for eyes and nose ( I used melon seeds for nose and black food gel for eyes).
